Audrey TURTON Obituary
With a deep sense of loss and sorrow, our family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Audrey Turton on February 3, 2016 at the age of 94.
Audrey was predeceased by her husband Ted Turton and brother Ken McLeod.
She is survived by her children Ian, Bruce (Lynn), Janet (John), and Keith; four grandchildren Michael, Holly, Niki, and Ryan (Serena); six great- grandchildren Scott, Mitchell, Shelby, Aidan, Ronan, and Sonia; and her sister Mary Pemberton.
At Audrey's request, no formal service will be held. The following special words gave Audrey comfort in her final years:
"When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom- filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared and miss me, but let me go."
In lieu of donations, Audrey would prefer that you spend time with your family because family time is so important. Alternatively, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
