SAUNDERS, Isabel Mary (nee Quinn)
1929 - 2017
Surrounded by her children, Isabel Mary Saunders (nee Quinn) of Edmonton, passed away on May 18, 2017 at the age of 87 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Patricia Percher of Edmonton, Brian Saunders of Ottawa, ON, and Judy Saunders of Oliver, BC; grandchildren, Linda Brace of Edmonton and Sarah Saunders of Montreal, QB; great-grandchild, Michaela Percher of Edmonton; and her sister, Sheila Cashion of Edmonton.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Walter Saunders; her parents, Thomas and Pearl Quinn; and her siblings, Bernadette, Patrick, Carmel, Nora, Desmond, Sr. Helen, Regina, and Mary.
Isabel's greatest joy in life was her family and she enjoyed countless hours in their company, both at home and in travels with them.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 17511 - 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5X 5Z2. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB T6V 1H4.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Citadel Mews West and the Sturgeon Community Hospital for their care and support of Isabel.
