Glenda Blankenship Obituary

Glenda Sue King Blankenship, 65, of Panther, West Virginia died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in Princeton Community Hospital.

Glenda Blankenship was born December 30, 1941 in Gaylesville, AL., daughter of the late Luther and Nora Mobbs King. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Hurley, VA.

In addition to her parents, three brothers, David, Terry, and Michael King, and one sister, Martha Wofford preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jesse Blankenship, one daughter, Kimberly (Chuck) Case of Mesa, Arizona, sons Jesse (Barb) Blankenship of Gaylesville, Alabama, and James (Renee') Blankenship of Sevierville, Tennessee. Three brothers, Wayne King of Ceder Bluff, Alabama, Gerald King of Des Plaines, Illinois and Jimmy King of Maryville, Tennessee; nine Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 19, 2007 at noon, with The Rev. Doug Blankenship and The Rev. Bobby Conn officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Jaeger. Burial will follow in the Blankenship Cemetery at Zacks Branch near Panther, West Virginia. Friends may call at the Funeral home Thursday evening, January 18, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials my be sent to the funeral home
