To Dawn’s family, I greet you in love.
Dawn and I were high school friends, and I am so glad to see how her personality and heart continued to touch others. What a remarkable time God has given in sharing such gentleness, love, and generosity through Dawn’s life. My prayer is that you have great comfort, peace, and strength to not only get you through this time, but to sustain you in goodness that Dawn would want for you and in the fullness of life that God has for you - in Jesus’ name.

To the family of Dawn. Know that Dawn's spirit has touched all who ever came in contact with her. She was fun-loving and was always happy. I'm a Cardette Mom and have fond memories of Dawn. Even after all these years, I'm heartened to know she turned out to be a wonderful person. I pray that you fill up with all the stories posted here and those you will hear through out these difficult times. I will keep ya'll in my prayers for HIS peace and strength.

Bob and Family,
I have been away and just learned of your devastating loss. I have been ill, so cannot attend the memorial service, but Ester Miller Williams will be representing all of us at Rio Bravo Title who are so grateful for all the help and understanding you have provided to us.
I did not know Dawn, but know from others that she was your solemate and helpmate and those memories will never fade for you. We offer whatever we can in the way of services or other help. We are honored to help with the water well project and can only admire you and Dawn for all you have accomplished and your compassion for others.

Dear Bob and Family,
I am still at a loss for words, but I do know one thing. Dawn was the most coloful and creative person I will probably ever know. She always wanted for people to experience something new which made them feel so special. She will be greatly missed & I will never forget Dawn. My thoughts have been with you since we found out and we send the biggest, gentlest hugs. Dawn will be sorely missed. She made evereyone feel like they were the most important person in the world when she was with you..Zoe cried when she found out (even after meeting her only twice) and when we went to Disneyland on Monday, Zoe pointed out all the rides we went on with Dawn, Bob and Miss Sally!

Bob, Sally, and all of Dawn's family, I am truly sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives Dawn touched with her love and truly giving heart. I will never forget her and will remember her with such fondness. She was THE Diva of Divas! I will miss our Dawn terribly, but I take comfort in knowing that she is now a beautiful guardian angel, watching over us.

I was sad when she moved to El Paso but knew it was a fabulous opportunity for her family. May God bless your family and give you the strength you will need in the months ahead. I am so sorry for your suffering with the loss of your Dawn. She was a remarkable woman who's love for her family and friends was demonstrated in every day of her life. I am a Dis Diva and from the moment Dawn joined our group she was a perfect fit and a good friend to all. Dawn will be greatly missed on this earth.

I was deeply saddened to read about Dawn. She was a precious person that I taught in 2nd grade at Austin Elem, in Harlingen. Then we were fortunate to have Dawn,Rob, and the children live next door to us for several years on Maple Court. She loved to bake and was always sharing new receipes and baked items with us. She inspired me to start collecting things for a Christmas Village. In fact she gave me several houses as a start. I really hated to see this precious family move to El Paso but knew it was a great opportunity. We lost touch after a few years but I've never forgotten this lovely young lady that adored her husband, children, parents, and friends. I know she will truly be missed by all that knew her.
