Joyce, Mark and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these difficult times ahead. Cocano's passing has touched me and my fellow railroaders deeply. I truly believe that Cocano has taken his camera with him and will continue taking many beautiful pictures.

My prayers to all the family and thank you Melissa for keeping his friends up to date. I want the family to know that I thought Wayne was a very special guy. He drove all the way to Silver City to see me a couple of years ago. I was visiting mutual friends. We took wonderful pictures together. He also took the time to do some major copying of the 2005 reunion book and mailed it to me at his expense. He was very much a giver. I really appreciated him and his wonderful emails. I recieved around 10 emails from him daily.
I tried to tell him a couple of times what a great guy he was but he just blew it off. I think he had a hard time accepting compliments.
I will truly miss his kindness.

To Joyce & family,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I know when we remember Cocano, we will have only thoughts of good times. Wayne would regale us with stories of past reunions & always carried his albums of pictures. I am so glad that he attended our BAHS (El Paso)
