Ed was a great guy, and I know he is now with is best buddy Charlie (my dad) talking war stories and having a drink. While you will be missed, your spirit lives on. You will always be spoken of fondly. Rest in peace now.

M/Sgt. Thorpe,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army-especially when you served on Occupation Duty in Germany and the Korean And Vietnam Wars. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
