Mary Joan Feisler "Josie" Dailey

Mary Joan "Josie" Feisler Dailey, 90, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Erie, Pa. on December 2, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank L. and Florence Kessler Feisler. Mary Joan was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and Stephens College, Columbia, Mo. She was a life member of the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Mills; and her brother, William Feisler. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Gerald Dailey; daughter, Gail Cahill, and her husband, William, of Erie and Brooklyn, N.Y.; and her son, Douglas Dailey, and his wife, Barbara, of Erie. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Janel and Jerad Barnett, Melissa and Gavin Spencer of Xenia, Ohio, Emily Dailey of San Diego, Calif., and Stefanie Dailey of New York City; her sister-in-law, Maryon Feisler, and her son-in-law, Robert Mills; and five great-grandchildren, Allison, Evan, Carly, Owen and Mason, and many nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
