Edith Kinney Obituary
She was born in Platea on January 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Ralph Sr. and Mary Bricker Vorse.
Edith graduated from Northwestern High School. She worked for Lehman Fruit Farm and Sisson Pumpkin Patch. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, going to the casino, and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Glenn, in 2001; three brothers: Ralph, Harold, and John Vorse; and sister-in-law, Nancy Vorse.
Edith is survived by her children: Glenn A. Kinney and his wife, Nora, Steve Kinney and his wife, Kim, Daniel Kinney, and Tammy Dunn and her husband, Pat, all of Albion; four sisters: Mary Fitch, Melva Olesnanik and her husband, Carl, Eileen Crandal and her husband, Jim, and Ann Goodreau and her husband, Paul; two brothers, Chuck Vorse and Frank Vorse and his wife, Tear. She is further survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Albion Fire Department, 19 Smock Ave., Albion, PA 16401.

I recently met Edie when we went to nationals. Edie was so happy she came with us. She was a nice lady. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends in this time of sorrow.
