Donald R. Witherow

Donald R. Witherow, age 60, passed away Saturday November 5, 2011, at his residence in Harborcreek Township. He was born in Erie May 27, 1951 son of Irene Lewandoski Witherow and the late Donald B. Witherow. In addition to his mother he is survived by his children Roland Witherow of Erie, Donald Witherow of Harborcreek, Shaun Witherow of Belle Valley, and three grandchildren Torrie and Donald Witherow of Haborcreek and Alexander Witherow of the Philippines. He is also survived by a sister Linda Space and her husband Jim of East Springfield, Pa. two brothers Robert Witherow and his wife Dianne of Danfield, Ill. and Robert Witherow and his wife Vickie of Harborcreek. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Randy Witherow. Donald was a U. S. Air Force veteran with over 15 years service and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Carl Neff Post. He will always be remembered as a father and a friend. Friends may call at the G. R. Bailey Funeral Home, 4396 Iroquois Ave., Lawrence Park Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 until time of service at 8:30 p.m. Private interment North East Cemetery.
