I was so sorry to hear of Dr.Orlando's passing. He was our optometrist for several years during the 1960s and 1970s. He not only was our eye doctor but a true friend. When I played baseball in the 12 year old league for Gem City Ice Cream, he was there for every game. My parents never had much money but I remember Dr. Orlando treating my mother and I with deep respect.
I will always remember Doc as a very impotant person in my life. He was extraordinarily special.
Phil Dougherty (son of Lena M. Forfia Dougherty)
