My deepest sympathy to you. Dave was such a treat at Kiwanis meetings over the years. And I always enjoyed working with him cutting the pies he had baked at the Antique Shows. He was a real people person and his smile warmed the room. I know what you are going through, as I have been there myself. If I can help in any way, call me. With affection,

Joanie, I just heard about Dave's passing... it's been a very long time but still remember all the great advice he offered to a new kid out of college joining his firm. He was a great man and mentor

Joanie, So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I will always remember Dave as a man of integrity and honor and a real gentleman. Without Dave my Kiwanis days would not have been nearly as much fun. Dave was our " PIE MAN" during the Antique Show and I frequently think "our" antics during that time. I freuently tell stories of some of the "stuff" I did with Dave during those days. He was quite a special person to me.

I'm so sorry to hear about David. I saw him in December when he and my mom were in St. Vincent's. My dad and I got to talk with him for awhile about some of the old days. He seemed at peace about whatever was ahead. I will always remember him as a great guy and a good friend to my parents.

Dear Joanie and family,
I worked with Dave at Holland Metro Realtors, for birthdays they would supply a cake for the birthday person. It was a pleasure to share the same date with Dave. He would tease me that I was older then him, we would laugh and give each other a birthday hug. When I left Holland I missed the shared birthday date with Dave, but every year I remember those days with a smile. Dave was always there when I needed a question answered or to discuss some options to a problem. I will miss Dave and his warm smile. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at his time of need.
