Frank Moyer Obituary
Frank M. Moyer, 79, of Albion, died on Friday, July 1, 2016, at the VAMC, Erie, after a long illness.
He was born in Springfield, Pa. on July 23, 1936, the son of the late George and Dorothy Kinny Moyer.
He served with the U.S. Army as a Private 1st Class during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion in Albion.
He retired from Rogers Brothers' Albion in 2001 after 35 years of service. He also worked for Steinhoff's Golden Dawn in Albion for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wallace Moyer on December 8, 2007; two brothers, Robert and Chuck Moyer; three sisters, Georgia, Judy, and Bonnie.
He is survived by three children, David Moyer, Albion, Julie Moyer, Springfield, and Roger Wallace, Girard; three sisters, Marie Heinonen and Mildred Wade, Conneaut, Ohio, and Virginia Marcy, Albion; one grandson, Coty Taylor.
Friends may call at the Mattera Funeral Home, Albion, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend funeral services there on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ed Huntley and Pastor Keith Nitschke, officiating. Interment in Albion Cemetery.
