Bonnie Ferringer Obituary

Bonnie V. Ferringer Bonnie V. Ferringer, 50, of Harborcreek, died Monday, December 26, 2005, as the result of an accident. She was born in Erie on November 1, 1955, daughter of Ronald and Rosemary Hofmann Bolash of Erie. Bonnie loved her husband, children, and family, and was a devoted mother. She also loved the beach, the birds, mice, Stuart Little, and watching the night sky. Her children said she was loving, caring, giving and unselfish. They said she was always there when you needed her the most. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. Bonnie loved cooking, gardening, licorice, cinnamon candy, animals, and the warmth of the sun on her face. She was an avid reader and collected cookbooks. There are not enough words to describe Bonnie. How to put on paper in a few sentences what a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and sister she was? She touched many lives. Besides her parents, survivors include her husband, Robert G. Ferringer, Jr.; seven children, Emily, Robbie, Geoffrey, Christopher, and Lydia Ferringer, and David and Timothy Goodwin; three sisters, Penny Decker and husband Richard, Darcie Teribery and husband Guy, and Gail Roth and husband Brian; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Heidi Costa and Cindy Courteau; and her niece, Kristi Courteau. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a prayer service there on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Contributions may be designated for the family through the funeral home. To send condolences, visit www.dusckasfuneralhome.com. Dearest Rob and family,

We are sorry for the loss of your wife and mother, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Your family contributed to many peoples happiness, you are good people.

God is watching over you as Bonnie joined him and his Angels to bring her peace and eternal happiness.

When someone joins the Lord on the Birth of Jesus, that is extra special that he invites them to celebrate a new life on this very special day.

May God keep you and your entire family at peace as he accepted Bonnie on that special day.

God Bless you All for being so strong during this time.

I am so sorry for your tragic loss! I pray that God gives you all HIS strength and peace during the coming days. I fully understand your loss. I live most days trying to put one foot in front of the other because "one day at a time" is too much to think about. My thoughts and prays are with you all.
