Kenneth Corbran Obituary


Kenneth J. "Kenny" Corbran, age 55, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at West Penn Hospital, in Pittsburgh. He was born in Erie, on August 15, 1959, son of the late Kenneth B. and Mary A. Konopka Corbran.

Kenny was a resident of the Barber National Institute. He enjoyed listening to music and going for fast rides in cars.

Kenny is survived by two sisters, Kathleen Guerin (Jim) and Mary "Maebeth" Abata (Joe); one brother, Paul Corbran (Susan); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his Gertrude Barber Center family, including his house mates, William Grassi, LeRoy Strange and Vincent Carneval and staff, Laurie, Patrick, Jim, Julia, Aldina, Taylor, Bethany, Jemell, Carissa, Allysa, Lauren, Maura, Ian, Aaliyah, Gary and Torie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and John Spencer; niece, Jennifer Spencer; and nephew, Kenneth Spencer.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30, at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507.
