To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

TO MY DEAR FRIEND, YOU WILL BE SADLY MISSED, I LOVE YOU AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME IN SPIRIT. I WILL BE THERE FOR YOUR FAMILY AS THE GRIEVE. FOREVER....JESSY

September 26, 2011

To my sister Jane,
I am going to miss you so much! I just want to pick up the phone & call you. I will never forget all the fun times we shared & our long talks! I am so glad you went along to Florida with the "Sea Gals" in April. We had such a great time. You were not suppose to leave us this soon but God had other plans for you and you are at peace. Fly with the angels Jane and watch over us. Your legacy will live on thru Missy & Stevie & your grandchildren. You will be missed at family gatherings but you will never be forgotton. Just think Jane, you won't get stuck in anymore elevators like we did in Florida a few years ago! How we laughed about that once we got out. And the time you fell in the water puddle in Ocean City with all the Sea Gals! So many memories, & I will never forget them. The memories will forever be in my heart & mind. Dori & I will carry on our "sister" times, but you will be there in spirit and do us a favor, help us carry the suitcases, will ya? We are a strong family & we will be fine. We will take care of Steve, your children & grandchildren. Rest in Peace & be sure to save me a beach chair in the white sand by a palm tree! Until we meet again, I will love you forever & never forget you.
Your Sis,
Joyce

Jane, I miss you so much!! You were my bigger sister. Now I'm left with a big sister! God saw your pain & suffering so he called you home. You were an angel & God wanted his angel in heaven. It's not fair, it was too soon. But, I know life is not fair & we cannot plan how or when, only God knows the answers to these questions. I no longer question God or ask Him "why?". I just try to accept. I thank God for all the wonderful memories we got a chance to make. All of our sister vacations. The fun, the laughter, the too heavy & too many suitcases on each & every trip we took. The now funny struggles we had with all those too many & too heavy suitcases!!!! How we would always say at the end of the trip, "Next time we are not taking as many suitcases stuffed full of clothes & shoes, (most we never wore), we are packing lighter next time!" Yeah, right, that never happened. One of us was always stuck in a back seat of a car, barely visible over the stuffed in suitcases that wouldn't fit in the trunk!!! We had some great times didn't we Jane? When the French sisters headed out for a sister trip it was always "Look out world, here we come!!!" And they definitely knew we were there by the time we left!!! The 3 musketeers, one for all & all for one!!! Now we are down to 2 musketeers & your missing presence will be a big void but we will carry on. That's what we French's do, keep on keeping on. Leaning on one another, keeping each other strong, making sure the other keeps putting one foot in front of the other. How lucky we all are to have been born into such a great family!! You were always there for me whenever I needed support. you never wained. You & Steve were a constant presence in my children's & my life for months following the death of my Stephen. For this, I could never repay you. My mind keeps playing back a film of all the memories we made together. These memories will carry me through until we meet again. You will be sorely missed by many. Sis, there are no words to say how much I will miss you!! There's just nothing to say. I have a very heavy heart & the tears fall frequently & for hours at a time. I love you..... rest in peace.... (and as all us French's say all the time)...See Ya!!! Your Little Sister, Dori
