Born July 19, 1938, in Westminster, Md., he was the son of the late Sterling M. and Bessie Eury Frock. He was the husband of Virginia Faye Bare Frock, his wife of 45 years. He graduated from Westminster High School, Class of 1957, and served as Class Vice President. Following graduation, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Brownsville, Texas, and Okinawa, Japan, and wrote for the base newspaper. Following his discharge from the service, he worked for Willow Farms Dairy and various dairies in Pennsylvania. He owned and operated Green Gables Bowling Lanes and later co-founded Thunderhead Lanes in Westminster, Md. From 1981 to 1991 he owned and operated Frock's Crown Station on 7th and Bentz Streets in Frederick, Md. He and his wife were also the proprietors of Lucky Strike Lanes in Westminster, Md., where for many years they organized bowlers who traveled to the Wild Irish Rose Tournament in Canandaigua, N.Y. He had a love for horse racing and in the 1980's owned several horses which he stabled at the Charles Town Race Track. He greatly enjoyed his yearly fishing expeditions to Deer Path Lodge in Hudson, Ontario, Canada, with family and friends. He enjoyed country music, especially Elvis Presley and Tammy Wynette. He was an excellent cook, loved countrystyle food, and enjoyed organizing picnics or planning dinner outings with family and friends. After retiring, he frequently attended the Westminster Senior Center where he participated in the pool league and enjoyed the many friends he made there. An avid card player, as his health declined, he got great enjoyment from his every Tuesday poker games with friends. He loved his Bichon Frise dogs Peanut, Popcorn, Sweetie, and Hunter. Dear Frock Family,

I remember getting to know Kenny during his days with the Westminster Little League where Kim served as THE score keeper of record. I always respected his love for the game.

I enjoyed my time with Kenny and often smiled reading his occasional letters to the editor of the Carroll County Times - you never had to guess what he was thinking - up front - he certainly was...

Please accept my sympathy.

To Kenny's Family, I went to WHS and played football w/Kenny under Herb Ruby. I lived in Westminster recently (9/98-9/06) and enjoyed going to the Senior Center and shooting pool w/Kenny and others. I remember Kenny having a good sense of humor. He will be missed. RIP. PEACE, Terry Gehr Cody

Dear Faye and Family,
I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of Kenny. My goodness, it seems that he certainly lived a very full life as long as he could I know it has been quite an ordeal for you in recent weeks but we have to believe that he is in a better place now and with pain no more. Acceptance takes a very, very long time. Lean on the love and support of your family and many friends to help you through these, your darkest hours.
We will get together when you are ready.

Faye - John & I want to extend our deepest sympathies to you and the family in your loss.

I'll always remember the good times Kenny & I had growing up. He always kidded me by saying "We may not be the best, but there ain't anyone better."

My prayers are with you. Sorry I can't be there to share in your grief.
