Alfred Rothlisberger Obituary

Alfred G. Rothlisberger departed this life, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Alfred G. "Big Al' Rothlisberger was born March 28, 1942 in Banner, Missouri to parents Delmar and Nancy (Bland) Rothlisberger. After high school graduation, Al served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Al married Mary Hoppock June 25, 1983 in Bartlesville.
Al was an avid hunter, bowler and fisherman. He also loved watching basketball. Al was very active in his church, Eastern Heights Baptist Church. He was a children's Sunday School teacher. Al also served the Lord by traveling to St. Louis and Catoosa for Worldchanges and traveled to Bosnia and Canada on mission trips.
Surviving Al is his wife Mary of the home and his beloved pets Casper and Maggie; Sons, Greg and wife Jill Rothlisberger, Billy and wife Deb Hoppock and Kevin Rothlisberger. Al is also survived by grandchildren Marissa Hoppock, Jordan Hollis, Rachel Hedge, Garrett Thornbrugh, Katrina Rothlisberger, Caleb Rothlisberger, Briley Rothlisberger, Linsey Tompkins, and bonus grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jakob Warehime. Brothers, Allan and wife Betty Rothlisberger, Curtis and wife Jerri Rothlisberger, and John and wife Christy Rothlisberger, one sister Sue and husband David Whitt. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Nancy Rothlisberger, brothers Christopher and LeRoy Rothlisberger and sister, Linda Fay Rothlisberger.
Family will receive guest at Stumpff Funeral Home Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2016, 10:30 am at Eastern Heights Baptist Church with Brother Michael Vallandingham officiating. Interment to follow in the Dewey City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends who wish, may sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.stumpff.com
