Nelson Lowery Obituary

Graveside services for Nelson Lowery was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Dewey Cemetery with Pastor William Shupe of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Bartlesville officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Nelson Wayne Lowery was born January 19, 1958 at Fort Jackson, SC to Hobert Nelson and Dorothy-Lynne (Davis) Lowery. Nelson was an accountant and owner of 2CClear, Inc. Nelson was an avid fisherman and being an accountant, very organized and work oriented. The Dallas Cowboys was his team of choice as he enjoyed watching their games with his nephew, Connor.
Nelson is survived by his mother, Dorothy-Lynne "Dott" Lowery of Carthage, TX, sister, Lynne Burkhalter also of Carthage, nephew, Connor Burkhalter, brother-in-law, Tony Spear and wife Michelle of Mesquite, TX. Two aunts; Betty Gotwalt of Copan, Catharine Moss and husband Noble of Dallas, along with several cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Dallas.
Nelson was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Lowery, life mate, Tamara Singer, his grandparents and brother-in-law, Rick Burkhalter.
