Patsy Smith Obituary

Patsy (Sires) Smith was born on January 13, 1940 to James Sires and Beatrice E. (Dean) Sires in Ochelata, Ok. She joined her husband and son in Heaven on February 11, 2016 at 110a at The Journey Home.
She received her education and graduated from Barnsdall High School. She married Joseph G. Smith on January 13, 1959 and they made their home in Bartlesville until moving to Copan. She worked at Union Bank, Phillips 66, Mullendore CrossBell Ranch and Price Tower Arts Center.
Patsy was loved by so many and her absence will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew her. She was truly an angel and now she has received her wings.
Patsy is survived by her mother, Beatrice Sires of Dewey, brother Joe Sires and wife Tracy of Bartlesville, brother Jimmy Sires of Bartlesville, son Joseph (Dusty) Smith and wife Julie of Bartlesville, daughter Penney Anderson and husband John of Bartlesville, daughter Bobette Wells and husband Chuck of Collinsville, daughter in law Cheryl Smith of Copan, her friends Vicki Beel of Bartlesville and Cynthia Naylor of Dewey, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was proceeded in death by her father, brother Leon (Sonny) Sires, her husband and her son Tarry Smith.
Funeral services will be under the direction of Stumpff's Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10a on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in the chapel at Stumpff's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dewey Cemetery.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Journey Home, 3406 Kentucky, Bartlesville, OK, 74006 or RiverCross Hospice, 2301 SE Washington Blvd #C, Bartlesville, OK 74006.

I ran into Chance at Lowe's today and asked about Pat and he let me know that she had passed. I worked with her at the Price Tower and she was a special person and friend. I miss her every day.

I just found out this morning and my heart is broken for the family.Although I hadn't seen Pat in years,but I thought of her and the family so much.My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
