Trixie Ruble

Trixie Ruble, 92, passed from this life peacefully in her sleep on April 11, 2016 at her home in Bartlesville.
Trixie was born in Ringling, Oklahoma on May 12, 1923 to parents James and Jesse (McCaskill) Cartwright. Trixie married Maurice "Moe" Ruble on December 1st, 1946 in Sedan, Kansas. They would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this December. Trixie loved her family and was very devoted to them. She had lost her mother at a young age, so it was always very important to her to be the best mother to her children that she could be. She loved taking care of her family and tending to their needs. Trixie also loved to fish, and she and her daughter Marsha seldom missed a week without going. She especially loved going to Birch Lake. Trixie also loved her flowers and gardening. Trixie was a lady with great poise and class, and her family will greatly miss her guidance and devotion.
Trixie is survived by her loving husband, Moe of the home, daughter Marsha Conover of Bartlesville, son Mike Ruble of Perry, Oklahoma and son Jerry Ruble of Copan, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and special family friend and caregiver Angie Eads. Trixie was preceded in death by a son Maurice Ruble, Jr.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 and from 9am to 8 pm Thursday, April 14, 2016.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Eastern Heights Baptist Church, with entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Arrangements under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
