James Yearout Obituary
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Rev. David Mabon officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #105 Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
James Charles Yearout was born February 18, 1928 in Dewey, OK to James C. and Bessie Maude (Bush) Yearout. Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Saginaw Bay Air Craft Carrier and was honorably discharged on July 20, 1946. Jim worked many years for National Zinc Co. in Bartlesville and retired in 1990 as a Shop Supervisor. Earlier he was a partner in Jones Wheel Alignment and ACME Body Shop. He loved golfing, fishing, taking care of the yard and was an avid outdoorsman.
Jim is survived by his wife of 65 years, D. Helen Yearout. One son, James A. Yearout and wife Cheyrl of Owasso. One daughter, Robin and husband Jack Hadley of Dewey. One grandson, John Hadley and wife Ira of Dewey and one great-grandson, Carter Hadley. Two brothers, Larry Novak and wife Carol of Austin, TX and Dan Novak and wife Andrea of Bartlesville. One sister, Hazel Davis of Bartlesville, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Joe Novak, two brothers, Jake Yearout and Frank Novak and two sisters, Joanna Bolen and Mary Hain.

Robin, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. It was kind of a jolt when I looked at the picture of your dad when he was young. Looks so much like you did when we were silly teenagers a long time ago. What a great idea putting both young & old pictures on the site.

Lots of good memories playing golf with Jim and my dad, Alex, at Sunset. Jim was good guy and always had a story to tell. He will be missed.
