Amanda Graham Obituary

RAEFORD - Ms. Amanda Graham, of Raeford, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at 207 Covington Ave., at the age of 29. Ms. Graham was born Sept. 29, 1981, in Cumberland County, to Larry Graham and Sophia D. Cashwell. She worked for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as a Life Link critical care supervisor. She served five years in the law enforcement community as a police officer. She was a loving mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, Kevin Locklear of the home; parents, Larry Graham of St. Pauls, and Sophia D. Cashwell and her husband Henry Cashwell of Dahlonega, Ga.; son, Nathan C. Graham; stepson, Kamron W. Locklear of the home; daughter, Sommer E. Graham and stepdaughter, Marissa C. Locklear, of the home; and two brothers, Joshua H. Garner and Robert D. Cashwell, both of Dahlonega. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Mount Elim Baptist Church, 921 Wilson Road, Red Springs. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at the church, with the Rev. Tony Brewington and the Rev. Kent Chavis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave., Raeford Online condolences may be made at crumplerfuneralhome.com.

I remember Amanda Graham as a sweet, gentle and loving person. She came to visit me when I had my son in 2009. She would also watch him on occasions. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was a wonderful supervisor, always treated everyone equal. She loved and cared for everyone.
