Charles Sox Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Charles W. Sox, 68, of Fayetteville, died Friday, March 23, 2012, in his residence. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 12:45 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Dennis Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends today from noon to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Sox retired from civil service. He also served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve after 27 years. He is survived by his brother, Richard N. Sox and wife Maria of Coral Gables, Fla.; and three nephews, Richard N. Sox Jr., Derek Michael Sox and Daniel A. Sox. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
