Mitch was the first actual friend I had in the 7th SFG(A). He drove an old Corvette and I rode an old Electra Glide. We developed a friendship that would last forever. Years after we had both retired we had numerous linkup. I remember Mitch calling me to ask if I could pick him and his son, Jason in Rochester, MN in order to take him to Mankato to pick up his dream car. This was the last time I saw Mitch. I talked to him the day before his passing. He is and always will be my brother. God bless and God speed Mitch.

We had so much fun together. I remember you, me and Johnny getting haircuts at Hong Kong Johnny's favorite place and you buying the $500.00 shoes in London, and then walking around and your feet hurt. RIP brother. Denis F.

Rest in Peace Mitch, You were the best friend and Team Leader and we shared those Elvis moments overseas on every trip we went on together, I will surely miss you. I know you are now in heaven with Elvis and listening to all those songs and you will keep singing in my heart my dear friend, again Rest in Peace, I will never forgetyou brother!!!

Mitch, a true patriot, with an unparalleled love for God & country, second only to his family. As a seasoned team leader he made me and many others better at the job than we would've been otherwise. I'll never forget the humor, spirit, or passion he embodied always.....and i don't think i'll ever hear of Elvis without Mitch coming to mind. Rest in peace, soft soul.
