Bertha Tipton Obituary
In addition to her husband Dale, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five daughters Debby Lancaster and her husband Dallas of Huntsdale, MO, Robin Tipton of Higbee, MO, Cindy Haney of Jamestown, MO, Christa Taylor and her husband Chuck of Parker, CO and Shawna Murray and her husband Phillip of Columbia, MO; one brother Buck Burkett and his wife Diane of Sparks, NV; one sister Judy Mitchell and her husband Tom of Guthrie, OK; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, two daughters Dalene Tipton and Rhonda Tipton and one brother Robert Wayne Burkett preceded her in death.
Bertha was a homemaker and enjoyed being outdoors, trail riding, drawing, painting, motorcycles and spending time with all of her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Higbee Senior Center or to the Higbee High School FFA, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
