Judy was a fantastic friend & neighbor. She always had a smile and kind words to say. We shared many laughs over the years that I will treasure forever. Her strength in difficult times is like none I have witnessed before. I just received news of her passing & deeply regret missing her service. Judy lives on forever in the many fond memories that we all have of her.

My Meme Judy was the kind of person who could get along with anyone.
I will always remember her for her etiquette and the way she treated others from all walks of life as well as her sense of humor that made her great company at any occasion.
She was kind, practical and could be counted on. She set a great standard for our family, with big shoes to fill.
As a young boy I learned a lot of things from her, and she played a large role in who I am. She taught me to be a gentleman and she sparked my love for computers by teaching me what and how to use a computer when I was a young boy. These skills are now the basis for my Career.
She also taught me how to cook various pies and pastries and I will never forget weekends with her cooking eggs and toast while standing on a chair, or the time I used the whole shaker of salt on our eggs. We ate them anyway
Her love for animals, dogs in particular also shines bright. She brought her love, and compassion together during her years with NEADS, and her contribution to their programs for veterans and others is a true achievement, one that brings great pride to our family.
She loved her family, her country, baseball, and her Service Dog Cody who was also by her side to her last breath.
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.

The angels have taken Judy to her heavenly resting place. No one should ever have to endure an illness such as ALS. Judy never sought sympathy but carried on with acceptance, courage, understanding, appreciation, humor, and love for Bill, her family, friends, and Cody and Dixie. The gleam in her smile with never be forgotten. She was a very special person who will be deeply missed.

I will always remember doing dog tracking with Judy. We would spend hours waiting for the tracks to age, eating onion soup and solving the problems of the world. She was funny and kind and wise and we would talk about everything. I pray she is at peace now and with her beloved Suki Baby. God blessings on her and wonderful Billy who made her last days as comfortable as possible

Hilda and I were shocked to read of Judy's passing. She was my first cousin 2 times removed. The last time we saw her was in 1993 and we had dinner with Judy and Zola and spent a very enjoyable time visiting together.
She was interested in genealogy at that time and I shared a lot of information with her.
Sadly, the last time I heard from her was when Zola passed. We miss Zola.
She and Judy were our las connection to the Smith Family in Leominster and Westminster. She used to call us and visit regularly. Judy told me that she was going to continue her mother's custom. I don't know what happened, but she didn't.
Hilda and I have lived in Texas since 1972 but it is our intention to be buried at Woodside Cemetery in the Smith lot (my grandparents). Perhaps we shall be close to Judy.
Sergeant always loved you Judy. Thanks for this photo.

You will surely be missed Judy. You were a one of a kind person. You had such a big heart and so much love for the NEADS program and the prison pup Program.I am so glad that I had the privilege of knowing you. Until I see you again. With Love, Anita
