To Diana and George:
Walt has been first a customer of mine for over 15 years and shortly after, a dear friend. Walt had a "passion" of cars and it brought him joy to come and pick them out. I often looked forward to our conversations about Diana or his dog or about the baskets he was putting together for his employees at Christmas time or his trips to Florida. He always was the most pleasant person to deal with, never ever spoke negatively about anything, always "upbeat" full of a sense of humor! Everyone at Signature Ford of Owosso will miss him as well. I frequented his Crossbow establishments many of time over the last 25 years, sharing his famous "trash cans" and enjoying his many "Walt" dishes with generous portions. My heart goes out to the many waitresses and employees of the Crossbow Inn, especially Beth....I hope each and everyone of us can say we learned to be genuine and compassionate from knowing Walt. So Sincerely,
Judy May

My heartfelt condolences to Diane, Frank, Karen, and the entire Olin family, as well as the rest of the "Crossbow family". I was proud to be a part of that family for 16 years, not just as an employee, but as friend to Walt, as well. He was a fair and generous man, successful businessman, fun-loving and witty, friend to all; foe to none. We all share one thing in common; we each have our memories of time spent with Walt. May the "families" lean on each other in this time of sorrow, but know Walt is in a better place; his memory in our hearts forever. RIP, Walt. You will not be forgotten. Judy May

It is hard to find words to describe the whole in my heart You always think there will be a next time to talk and laugh and make memories. I just had another lesson in not letting an opportunity to go by and not tell someone how you feel about them and how special they are. Walt was a special giving person. So sorry for your whole family and you wonderful friends. Donnell and Bruce

TO my Crossbow Inn family: We have been bless by a man that there will be NO other like him. He has shared in all of our joy and sorrows. He filled in parts of our life's that we will just start to see. He made us laugh and for this short time we will cry. I can tell all of you even though we have physically not been in Michigan the Crossbow family and Walt have always been with us and will continue to be in our hearts. So lets lift a glass and toast the best boss, friend and father figure ....... To Walt!
