I was saddened to read of the passing of John. I met John while working at Maple Wood Manor. John was one of the sweetest men I ever met. Later I learned his granddaughter had a place in Topinabee, as he was wearing a Topinabee Shirt...and no one ever heard of Topinabee, Michigan! We had a wonderful visit, and I later met his daughter and a one of his sons. John brightened every single day I worked there. I would often take him to and from his room, after dinner, I missed seeing John after I no longer worked there. But remembered him, and his wonderful family. I send you my deepest sympathy. I know he will be making all the angels happy, with his wonderful smile, and always a kind word.
Sincerely yours,

Glad you are resting in peace and playing that Hungarian Gypsy music in Heaven.
Hope you can teach George a few Hungarian pieces that he can play on his bass guitar.
God bless your family at this sad time.

I met John at Maple Wood Manor when visiting my mother. He was usually setting in the doorway of his room and I would say hi/goodby when I saw him. One day I decided I should introduce myself and put my hand out to shake his and he took my hand and kissed it! I have never in my life had a man kiss my hand! I will miss not seeing John's smiling face. He was a very sweet man.
