Mary Ruth Slice Haile
CHAPIN — Mary Ruth Slice Haile, 66, beloved wife of Bobby Haile of 283 Mary Drive, Chapin, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was an employee of Ellet Brothers of Chapin for 14 years, where many of her customers, from all over the United States, became life long friends. She has been a Farm Bureau insurance agent for the past 27 years, receiving numerous awards and citations for her excellence. She was a well-respected and integral part of the Chapin business community for more than three decades.
A charter member of Chapin Baptist Church, she loved her church family and the clergy with whom she shared a special relationship. She remained active during her illness and received comfort from the Legands group and her Sunday school class.
