Anne Dampier Stewart LAMAR - Anne Dampier Stewart, age 63, of Lamar died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 14, at Mt. Elon Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home, LAMAR. Born June 4, 1946, and a lifelong resident of Lee County, Anne is the daughter of the late G.B. and Margie Outlaw Dampier. She graduated from Bishopville High School and Carolina College of Commerce. Anne formerly worked for the Lee County Alcohol and Drug Commission. She was a member of Mt. Elon Baptist church, and enjoyed going to services there. Mrs. Stewart also loved her grandchildren and enjoyed tending to her chickens and cows. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Stewart, a son, Grier (Elizabeth) C. Copeland of Kingstree, a daughter, Candyce (Scott) Chapman of Bishopville, four grandchildren: Grayson, Carter and Peyton Copeland and Dylan Chapman.
