Paulette G. Lemay

Melbourne

Paulette G. Lemay, 80, died April 11, 2011, with her family by her side in Melbourne, Fla. Paulette was born to Stanislas and Pauline Gendron. She was married to Oril Lemay for 49 years.

Before moving to Florida, she was a resident of Maine and volunteered for several organizations throughout her life. Prior to moving, she was an active member of the Hills Beach Association. In Florida, she was heavily involved in the park association and activities' committee where she lived. She was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Paulette enjoyed dancing, gardening, playing the organ, knitting, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Raymond L. and Mark. She is survived by her partner, Donald Smith; former husband, Oril; their children, Michael Lemay, Marie Brown, Raymond P. Lemay, Suzanne Lemay and Michelle Masse, and their spouses and her grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Wednesday at Lamplighter Village in Melbourne, Fla. A second service will be held in Maine sometime this summer for friends and family closer to Maine.

Donations may be sent to the Salvation Army, 1080 Hickory St., Melbourne, FL 32901.
