Cocoa, FL
Judy, 73, our precious wife, mom, and grandmother was greeted in Heaven on February 16, 2015.
Born in Buffalo, NY and graduated Cocoa High in 1959. She married her high school sweetheart of 54 years. Runner up for Mrs. University of Florida 1962. She had a love for everyone, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a soft, gentle, caring woman always with a kind and encouraging word. She had a passion for Jesus and wanted to share Him with everyone. She also loved to travel, recently cruising throughout Europe. She will be greatly missed but we know she will be in the arms of God.
Survived by her husband, the love of her life, Thomas L. Cain III; her three daughters, Sharon (Carl) Gauger, Tracy (Roy) Tharpe, and Jennifer (Tim) Crane; grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Troy, Taylor, John, Nick, Haley, Kelly, and Carly; great grandson, Joel; and sisters, Cindy Hines, Janie (Bill) Baker, Sandra (Arthur) Coker, Janet (Jim) Holder, and Sara Alsup.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, Merritt Island.

Judy lived the Titus 2:4 life, teaching us younger women the Word of God and living the christian life. I am so thankful and ever grateful for our sister to sister talks we have had. She is truly the Provb 31 wife and mother.

We moved into Parkchester last summer and had an open housewarming party. Judy and her husband came knocking on our door. There was a warm sparkle in her eyes that few people ever have and we liked her instantly! We only met that one time but she made a huge impression. We feel her loss and send our love to her family! She was very special!

I just want to say that Aunt Judy has always occupied a very special place in my memories. A lovely woman, devoted to her family and my Uncle Tom. I always looked forward to seeing her at the Philpot family home in Cocoa. She seemed to pervade a quiet happiness and had a rare natural grace that governed her actions. I remember she seemed to light up any room she was in. Even though we are certain she lived a full and interesting life, we offer our sympathies and condolences to her immediate family and to her loving husband, Tom.
