Dear Tharpe Family,
Barbara was the kindest, most patient, classy lady I ever met. She had this way about her that motivated and encouraged all around her. In my mind she was an excellent example of what a good woman, wife, mother, grandmother should be. She set a very high standard and will be missed by all fortunate enough to know her. God bless you and keep you in his loving arms.

Barbara was a kind and gentle person who loved her husband Roy and raised a great family.
She was very smart in business and loved to buy a house and renovate it only to sell it to Roy's chargrin.
I will miss her and she is in heaven with my Dad and her mother-in-law Myrt Tharpe welcoming her and giving her plenty to laugh about.

My dear Tharpe family. I write this with a heavy and sad heart. What a wonderful friend Barbara was for 31 years. I remember meeting her at Divine Mercy we were serving pizza and running around after Jonathan who was turning every knob he could find. I told her I just moved to MI and I didn't know anyone and it was my birthday. Barbara went to Publix and came back with a cupcake with a candle in it and sang me happy birthday we were friends ever since. She was always there for me. We had a lot of memories and laughs. I could go on and on with memorable times of true loving friendship. She will be missed!!! I told Rob to show her around heaven. She loved her family more than life. She always talked about everyone. I can't believe she is not with us. Rest and be at peace knowing she is in the good Lords arms. Xoxoxoxoxo

Barbara's life is an inspiration to those left behind. There aren't enough words to express her loving kindness to all who was fortunate enough to know her. Loving Sympathy goes out to her family of which I was fortunate to belong to.
