Rosemary and Stowers family, so saddened to hear about Kirk -As happens, we had lost touch, but he was a very good friend over the years, and got some Florida boys the assignment to cover the 50th anniversary celebration of Porsche in Monterey, in 1998 -A trip we shared with him that will be a cherished memory. Sure he is now cranking into Turn 4, headed for the checkered flag upstairs. Godspeed, Kirk, and deepest sympathies enfolded in prayers for the family

I've only had a couple of opportunities to meet and talk with Mr. Stowers at his shop. He was always friendly and eager to tell stories about his cars and his work. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
