Carl Caputo Obituary
Carl R. Caputo, 92, formerly of Smithtown, N.Y., passed away on March 21, 2003. Carl graduated from Sewanhaka High School and attended St. John's University in Brooklyn, New York.
He leaves a wife, Norma (Nee Williams). Carl was in the Army Air Corp in WWII for three years, and worked for the Grumman Corporation for 41 and one half years, retiring in 1983. He was an avid softball player on Long Island in the Jones Beach League, as well as a serious tennis player after moving to Florida. In his early years in Florida, he helped develop the rules and regulations for the Snug Harbor Village Association.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Fountainhead Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
