My eyes are filled with tears, my heart with sorrow my memories with nothing but happiness. Where to begin, I will not say goodbye, rather I will say until we meet again! You were one of the most amazing, generous, caring and loving woman I have had the honor of knowing and am privledge to have been able to call you mom. I have many fond memories as I was growing up. I remember the day you all packed up and moved from MN. It was my mom's 30th birthday! I am so happy to have spent a week with you last spring. I love you my beautiful 2nd mom....hugs to you Harriet, Mich, Ben, Libi and Marc

My heart is breaking with sorrow, yet I am also smiling. The reason is, I woke up one night while at Michelle's house and went to the kitchen for a drink of water. There I found Diane pouring powdered mild into a milk jug in the dark so no-one would know it was not real milk. She swore me to secrecy and this is the first time I have spoken about it. My tears are full of pain for losing such a wonderful woman, but also of pure joy for being lucky enough to have known her. God is the lucky one now.
Michelle, Libi, Harriet, Ben and Marc, you are all in my heart and prayers!

Diane did so much for us when we were young kids. There isn't a more loving, caring and compassionate person out there, What a wonderful person she was. I will always have fond memories of her. Nancy Hoffman

There’s no one else, there’ll never be, a better Mom, or friend to me
You loved me “plain”, without my frills, just as I am, now sorrow spills
It seems unfair you left, and I, love you so much I cry and cry.
I love you, MOM
