Thomas L. Cain III

Cocoa

Tom Cain, 75, passed away peacefully January 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Brevard, graduated Cocoa High School in 1959 and University of Florida in 1964 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Tom then went on to work for NASA on programs: Gemini, Apollo, Apollo-Soyuz, Skylab, Space Shuttle, Space Station at Kennedy Space Center, until retiring at age 55. He spent retirement traveling with his wife, to all 50 states and cruising Europe. Above all, Tom loved God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. He had a passion for sharing Jesus and speaking truth everywhere he went.

Survived by three daughters: Sharon (Carl) Gauger, Tracy (Roy) Tharpe, and Jennifer (Tim) Crane. Grandchildren: Heather, Brandon, Troy, Taylor, John, Nick, Haley, Kelly and Carly. Great grandson, Joel. Sisters: Jan (Jim) Holder and Sara Alsup.

Predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Judy and sister Carolyn Adams.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 21 at 1 pm Christ Central Church 2010 N US 1. Cocoa
