Catherine Marie Inghram

1924 - 2013

Catherine M. Inghram entered into eternal life with the Lord January 15, 2013. She was born in Delmar, Kansas on March 18, 1924 to Vera and Alex Pugh.

Living in western Kansas most of her young life, Catherine experienced the 1930's dust bowl first hand. She and her parents were part of the great migration of people from the area as described in The Grapes of Wrath settling in Peoria, AZ where Catherine attended Litchfield Park High School (Registry of Historic Places) and worked at the Wigwam as a dude ranch tour guide taking "city" folk on horseback outings (Registry of Historic Places).

Catherine attended the University of Arizona for two years until she met and married the man of her life. She was the consummate military wife making a welcoming home for her husband and children where-ever assignments took her family, supportive and nurturing to her children when their father was called away on various crisis involving our country.

She was a most creative woman from knitting, crocheting, quilting and needlepoint. She was president of the Brevard County Florida Federation of Garden Clubs winning numerous awards for her flower arraignments.

Catherine is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob) D. Inghram; her child-ren, Bonnie I. Siegrist (Christopher), Robert D. Inghram, Jr. (Judy) and Benjamin M. Inghram; her grandchildren, Brett I. Siegrist (Nora), Todd B. Siegrist, Catherine Christine Siegrist, Robert D. Inghram, III (Celeste), J. Travis Inghram, Benjamin A. Inghram and Michael A. Inghram; and her two great-grandchildren, Zachary S. Siegrist and Cole N. Siegrist.

Memorial services will be held at the High Flight Chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2013 at 10 AM.
