I always said Uncle Al was my "favorite Yankee." He certainly was, and I always looked forward to he and Aunt Cassie making their annual trip to Georgia. He would almost break my hand with that killer grip he had, something he never lost even after he passed 90. I enjoyed his stories and sharing jokes, but most of all he was a kind and compassionate man and it was an honor to have known him all of my 38 years. I will miss him, and I know all of you will. Praying for peace as you mourn his passing.

My deepest sympathy to the family during your time of sorrow. Psalms 46:1 says: God is for us a refuge and strength during difficult times. May God grant you the comfort to endure the days ahead.
