Howard Lattin Obituary


HORSEHEADS/FORMERLY OF PENN YAN - Howard "Bill" Lattin, Jr., 76, of Horseheads, passed away at Schuyler Hospital on Sunday (April 14th, 2013).
Family and friends are invited to attend Bill's Memorial Service on Wednesday (April 17th) at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Penn Yan. The family request no flowers, so please consider making a memorial donation in Bill's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Penn Yan, Penn Yan Little League, Arnot Health, Schuyler Hospital or Seneca View Skilled Nursing.
Bill was born on June 7, 1936 in Elmira, N.Y. to the late Howard Sr. & Anne Pettingill Lattin. He graduated from Odessa, served in the US Army Reserves and was a Highway Engineer for 35 years with the NYS DOT in Hornell, N.Y. Bill was a Past Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Penn Yan. He was an avid sports fan, loving the N.Y. teams, N.Y. Yankees, Mets, Buffalo Bills, N.Y. Giants & N.Y. Knicks.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Klube Lattin; son, Craig (Rosie) Lattin; grandson Tyler and granddaughter Regan; son, Todd (Zulme) Lattin, grandsons, Todd Jr., Matthew & Benjamin; brother John (Laurie) Lattin of Myrtle Beach; sister Linda A. Lattin; brother-in-law Robert (Barbara) Klube of Getzville, N.Y.; sister-in-law Marjorie Welker of Columbus, Ga.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
