I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.
~Native American Poem~

We would call each other most every night. Crazy thing is, I never realized how much those strange, funny, sometimes serious conversations really meant to me. Jeanie understood my craziness. We could have a conversation without even speaking to each other sometimes. I am so blessed to have had her as my friend! We would laugh at the same thing without explanation. I will miss that laugh, her amazing smile and her complete understanding of me. Jeanie I love you my friend, I will miss you and I pray you are at peace.

We will miss you Jeanie.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter and although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
