E. JANE SHOUDEL, 91, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Heritage Park Assisted Living in Fort Wayne. Born in Whitley County, she enjoyed playing cards and traveling the world when her husband was in the military. Surviving are her sisters, Elizabeth Weesner of Fort Wayne, Mary (Glen) Bryant of Portland, Phyllis (Wayne) Muzzillo of Auburn, Barbara Prater of Warsaw and Janice Frye of North Manchester; brother, Bryan (Linda) Hidy of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Iva Hidy; husband, Donald C. Shoudel; daughters, Anne S. Hunt and Donna J. Barber; sisters, Myrtle Myers, Margaret Reid and Doris Hidy; and brothers, Jack Hidy, Gail Hidy Jr. and Joe Hidy. Private Private family service to be held. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Memorials may be made to the Crippled Children Foundation.
