Lydia Stoner Obituary

LYDIA L. STONER, 101, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Van Wert, Ohio, she was the Co-Founder and Owner of Stoner's Funstores for 33 years, retiring in 1979. Survivors include son, Richard (Deanna) Stoner of Fort Wayne; daughter, Marjorie (Elmer) Smith of Coldwater, Mich.; grandchildren, Steven (Penny), Kevin, Patrick Stoner, Ginger (Andy) Haines, Cheryl (Jerry) Huffman and Deborah (Art) Case; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert H., in 1995; and three infants. Service is 10 a.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Chaplain Douglas Holley officiating. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Golden Years Homestead.
