JOYCE CARSON Obituary

JOYCE M. CARSON, 69, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a resident of Vermilion, Ohio for 31 years and lived in Fort Wayne for eight years. Surviving are her son, Jay F. (Lori) Carson Jr. of New Haven; daughter, Debra (Jake F.) Carlton of Abilene, Texas; sisters, Jeannette (Frank) Yagl of North Royalton, Ohio and Fran (Paul) Grimm of Medina, Ohio; grandchildren, Billy Cobb, Brandie Taylor, Jimmy Cobb, Ryan Carlton, and Katie Carlton; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bertha Kostal; husband, Jay Fred Carson; three siblings; and grandson, Adam Carlton. Service is 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
