ELIZABETH MESSMAN Obituary

ELIZABETH "LINDA" LEE MESSMAN, 80, of Woodburn, went peacefully to be with her Lord Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at home. Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lona Davis, Sr. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn. She owned and managed Linda's Flowers for 40 years and made many contributions to the community. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Neice of Woodburn; sons, Randy Messman of Monmouth, Ill., Kenneth Messman of Hudson, and Gerald Messman of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lorenz Messman; and son, James Messman. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn with calling one hour prior to service. The Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. Calling also from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Woodburn. Preferred memorials to Woodburn Christian Children's Home. Arrangements by E.
