RICHARD FEIPEL Obituary

RICHARD V. FEIPEL, 85, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, June 17, 2016, 11:45 p.m., at home. Born in Fort Wayne where he remained a lifetime resident, he work ed as a foreman at Old Fort Supply for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was a Marine Corps Korean War veteran. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Esther M.; four sons, Fred Feipel of Fort Wayne, Ted (Holly) Feipel of New Haven, Andy (Fee) Feipel and Ed (Jane) Feipel, both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Edie (Mark) Cockroft of Angola and Nancy (Ron) Roth of Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at St. Henry's Catholic Church, with viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friends may also call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun St. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hessen Cassel. Preferred memorial gifts to the church or Masses.

Esther, Andy and Family,

I was informed of Dicker's passing this morning and it hurt! What an awesome guy - from playing volleyball in the backyard to talking Tigers he was a pleasure to be around.
I am very sorry for your loss - the world lost a heck of a fine fellow and a darn good bowler as well.

It has been many years since I worked at OFS and since I have seen Dick but always remember what a fine man he was and a perfect gentleman as he dealt with so many different types of people coming and going in "the yard."
