DeLORES "DEE" PENCE

DeLORES "DEE" PENCE, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, at Beth-lehem Woods Nursing & Rehab-ilitation Center. Born in Fort Wayne, she had worked at the Fort Wayne Convention Bureau, the Memorial Coliseum, Dutch Ridge Antiques, and was part owner of Jack & Johnny's for 56 years. She traveled extensively in United States and overseas to Italy and Australia, and also traveled with her husband, John, over the course of his military service during World War II. She also collected antiques and was an antique dealer. She is survived by son, Greg Pence; daughter, Diane (Bernard) Pence Maldeney; granddaughters, Tracey Jo (Joe) Depillo and Michelle (Jeff) Colglazier; great-grandchildren Mia and Zoe Depillo; brother, Jack (Lu) Humbrecht; nephews, Kurt (Kathy) and Brent (Phyllis) Humbrecht. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Johnny" Pence; parents, Fredrick and Ruth (Preble) Humbrecht. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
