Dayton Warrix Obituary

DAYTON WARRIX, 63 of Auburn, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at DeKalb Memorial Hospital, Auburn. Born Sept. 24, 1942, in Hueysville, Ky., the son of the late Clyde Warrix and Sylvia (Crager) Warrix of Hueysville, Ky. He worked in the maintenance department at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Garrett. He was an Army Veteran and was stationed in Korea. Surviving are his wife, Judi (Thomas) Warrix; three sons, Kenny (Teri) Warrix of Avilla, Greg (Julie Moore) Warrix and Jeff Dayton (Donna) Warrix, both of Kendallville; two brothers, John Warrix and Bobbie Warrix; 10 sisters, Betty Ousley, Barbara Schmidt, Velma Shepherd, Margie Reed, Clydia Heintzelman, Shirley Boyd, Kim Slone, Audrey Whitaker, Kathy Neely and Bonnie Warrix; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by one brother, William Warrix; one granddaughter. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Feller Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with the Rev. Ron Stambaugh officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett. Memorials to a charity of donor's choice.
