GENE ALAN RUNSER

GENE ALAN RUNSER, 54, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was a graduate of North Side High School and work ed as a crane operator with Valbruna. He was a member of American Legion Waynedale Post 241, United Steelworkers, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and NRA. His greatest joy was spending time with his three children and family. He was a lot of fun to be around and had many friends. His favorite past time was golfing. He also enjoyed having cookouts, playing Bingo, and he was a gun enthusiast. Left to celebrate his life are his mother, Virginia Runser (Philip Moreno) of Fort Wayne; sons, Zachary and Jeremiah Runser, both of Fort Wayne, daughter, Elisabeth Runser of Bluffton; grandson, Cooper Runser; brother, David Runser of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Christina (Jeff) Johnson and Linda Neuhaus, both of Fort Wayne, Jenny Knight of Cheboygan, Mich and Anna Ford of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Runser. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr.
