When our son John heard of Bud's passing, he sent this email: "...I was just thinking of Bud the other day and how nice it was of him to mentor me in basketball. Teaching lessons he shared with me and his time and care I have carried with me and pass on in my mentorship of young people as well."

Bud was a good brother in the Lord. He would routinely encourage my brother and I in our service to the church, always ready to share a memorized a verse of Scripture. He loved to share 2 Timothy 2:15 - and encourage us in our respective ministry areas. Moreover, he was always prepared to share his testimony of how God called him to serve the church. He persevered with joy toward greater Joy.

Vicki, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. It was such a joy to know your family when we worked together at FWBC. Now your dad is walking streets of gold with Jesus after serving Him faithfully for so many years. Steve and Char Binkley

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jacobs and his beautiful wife Polly years ago when I moved into Bridgedale Apartments. He welcomed me with open arms and always looked out for me while I was living there. He would even bring me some of his delicious desserts that he made from time to time. Mr. Jacobs was a very special person who would do anything you asked of him. I'm so thankful that I got a chance to get to know him. I along with many others will miss his kind and loving spirit.

Jacobs Family, sorry for your loss. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
